This is a snowglobe that belongs to my daughter. It depicts what might be a night-time campfire scene from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The exact scene is lost to me as my daughter bought it used (no packaging) for $10.00 at a second hand book store. I would imagine it costs a lot more, and contained a book or specific scene information on the box it originally came in.
You can tell it's Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin. The background I mottled to accent the hand. I would imagine the hand is representative of the peril the hobbits are in, and Sauromon's desire to capture them and gain the power of the One-Ring.
I believe that's when the lads were hiding under the tree root when being persued by the Ringwraith during their flight from the Shire.
