It was then Billy offered up a comment that make me think he actually had potential to be an intelligent being.

"Well, after all this is over, what's to stop Min-DAAY from going back to her old ways? We're going to have to change her permanently, either by force, trickery, or reasoning. It seems unless we do that, we're just wasting our time with all this, no matter what we plan."

Grim was on him in a moment, "Yeah, mon, dat's the truth of it." Grim then looked at me.

"Well, Mandy, any ideas. Dis has GOT to work, ya dig?"

"Well, as a matter of fact, yes, I dig! Years ago, you and Billy had a certain mask that caused me considerable trouble with my more pleasant emotions. By chance, do you still have it?" I gave Grim and Billy my best old school smirk afterwards.

Billy smiled from ear to ear when Grim materialized a rather unimposing purple mask from out of thin air.

"You mean dis, de Mask of the Beast?"

"The very one. Now, change me and Billy into her lackeys, We keep the mask as insurance. Once it gets on her, she'll have no clue as to how to get it off!
